Our Story

We met the modern way: on Social Media! It was October of 2016; Taylor had been in New Orleans for a little over a year and while scouring the internet for any connections in the live entertainment industry, she came across Brandon's profile (many mutual friends) and hit the 'add friend' button. Brandon took no time at all to "slide into her DM's" and two weeks later, they met up for coffee at Mojos on Magazine Street.

Ultimately, the pair did not pursue a serious relationship in 2016... Taylor landed her dream job and had her daughter Arabella in January of 2019. Meanwhile, Brandon was expanding his skillset in the Lighting and Production Industry. Taylor is a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, but there were many times when Brandon would cross her mind and honestly was disappointed to not have seen him around the city at a show, event or social setting.

Remember the time the world stopped and we ran out of toilet paper? Well that's when our sparks flew again and the "what's next" became obvious. It was July of 2020, the roles reversed and Taylor finally slid into Brandon's DM's! Two weeks later, the pair caught up once again where it had all started before-- Mojo's Coffee on Magazine Street.

After discovering their mutual love for coffee, wine, travel and music, Brandon & Taylor's worlds collided serendipitously. The couple quickly got to a place where they could be completely transparent and themselves together and discovered they are the perfect balance of yin and yang. Can you guess which one is which? ;)

Three and a half years worth of memories later and we've traveled through Costa Rica, moved in together, seen our favorite bands live and binged watched way too much Netflix.

We can't wait for this next chapter in our story to begin and for YOU to be apart of our forever!

FAQ

Wedding Weekend Itinerary

Where is the wedding taking place? Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Southwest Austin. We have chosen a beautiful venue that will host the ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing. Not to worry-- we will have signage to direct you to the right locations.

What time is the ceremony? Ceremony will begin at 6:00pm, just in time for the Texas Golden Hour. We advise arriving 15-30 minutes prior to admire the grounds and find your seat.

What should I expect after the ceremony? After the quick ceremony, immediate family will be taking pictures. Guests may stroll over to the Central Gardens where passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served. Dinner will be served around 7:00pm in the Courtyard with music and dancing to follow in the Great Hall.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend? All of our guests are invited to join us for a sunset cruise on Lady Bird Lake, the evening before wedding day! If you anticipate attending, we kindly as that your RSVP on the dedicated page above.

Directions, Transportation and Accommodations

Will transportation be provided? We will have transportation provided to and from the venue-- pickup and drop off will be coordinated from the Colton House Hotel.

Is there parking available at wedding venue? The Wildflower Center has ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving. Uber or Lyft is another great option for those who do not. Please stay safe and default to the provided transportation or a Ride Share service if you plan to consume alcoholic beverages.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay? Out-of-town guests will need to arrange accommodations for the weekend. For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Colton House Hotel. Please mention the LeGrand-Hope wedding in order to receive the discounted rate. Along with the Hotel, we have picked out our favorite and most convenient accommodations for you! Please visit the Travel section on this website and browse through the hotel and airbnbs for more details.

RSVP

How do I RSVP? We sure hope you'll be able to join us for our special day. For a few reasons, we have opted to keep everything digital and right here on our website. We kindly ask that you RSVP for each event on the designated RSVP page above.

When is the RSVP deadline? Please get us your RSVP by Wednesday, February 14th, so we have time to inform our wonderful vendors and catering staff.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter? As parents ourselves, we get it! Your children are an extension of you and more than welcome. We will offer kids plates for those in attendance. At this time, we do not have plans for an on-site babysitter. If this changes, we will let you know right here on our website.

Can I bring a plus one? We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Menu and Dietary Restrictions

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception? We'll be serving light bites during cocktail hour in the Herb Garden, followed by dinner stations to choose from in the Courtyard. And of course cake and dessert. Royal Fig catering is a farm-to-table concept, so you can expect nothing but delicious and fresh local food throughout the evening!

I have dietary restrictions, what's the best way to communicate that with you? We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day. Please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs or preferences so we can let our catering partners know.

Will there be an open bar? YES! Please drink responsibly and tip your bartenders!

What To Wear

What is the dress code? What should I wear? The dress code is Dressy Casual Attire. For this time of the year, wear something you're comfortable in-- button-up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy!

Women - colorful sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner.

Men - dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; funky jackets and ties are optional but encouraged!

What weather should I expect? Of course, we cannot guarantee anything, but some would describe the weather in Austin to be cool and breezy in March! Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the weekend and have a light jacket ready for when the sun goes down.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors? BOTH! Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Dinner will be outdoors while music and dancing will be held indoors in The Great Hall.

Registry and Gifts

Are you registered? Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have registered a list with Amazon and Crate & Barrel of the things we need to complete our home and new life together.

Where should we bring/send our gift? If you are unable to attend and feel inclined to send a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 3552 Metairie Court in Metairie, LA 70002.
